Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Dubai International Motor Show 2013 will offer the Middle East public its first opportunity to view the eagerly anticipated Infiniti Q50 sedan first-hand. Taking centre stage on the Infiniti stand alongside an Infiniti Red Bull Racing display and the full model line-up, visitors will see for themselves the latest contender in the global premium compact sedan segment. One of Infiniti’s stunning concepts, hinting at the brand’s future, will also be at the show.
Juergen Schmitz, General Manager, Infiniti in the Middle East commented: “The Dubai International Motor Show offers us a biennial opportunity to present the full breadth of our offering to Infiniti’s Middle East audience. Our brand promise of passion, precision and performance are represented across all our exhibits, from our desirable product range to the Infiniti Red Bull Racing display, against the backdrop of our provocatively differentiating stand design. These core elements for our brand are embodied in Infiniti Q50 - the all-new benchmark for future Infiniti sedans.”
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan brings together category-defining design, rewarding performance, world-first technologies and unmatched levels of connectivity and personalisation. Along with the pioneering Direct Adaptive Steering™ technology and Active Lane Control™, available exclusively on Infiniti Q50, it also introduces Infiniti’s Direct Response Hybrid System™ to the Middle East line-up for the first time. Capable of reaching 100kp/h in 5.6 seconds* and with driving dynamics fine-tuned with direct input from Infiniti’s Director of Performance, Sebastian Vettel, Infiniti Q50 offers the ideal balance of performance and efficiency.
Alongside Infiniti Q50, EMERG-E also makes its regional debut. EMERG-E is one of a trilogy of highly-lauded Infiniti concepts which have become the foundation of Infiniti’s new design language and is displayed in fully-functioning ‘Demonstrator’ configuration. Design cues pioneered on these concepts, such as the ‘double arch’ grille, dynamic arch silhouette and human-eye like headlights, will be adapted to all Infiniti’s future sports sedans.
“As a total offering, our stand at the Dubai International Motor Show clearly signals Infiniti’s direction as we progress our ambitious global plan. We look forward to sharing the Infiniti experience with Dubai International Motor Show visitors,” said Schmitz.
Infiniti’s display at the Dubai International Motor Show comes at the end of an unprecedented 18 months for Infiniti. In addition to strengthening structure and talent, opening up new markets, and confirming the expansion of its manufacturing base, Infiniti has also introduced a new naming hierarchy for its models. These components are essential components of the premium brand’s ambitious expansion plans.
Infiniti Q50 goes on sale across the region in Spring 2014.
